A word from our Founder Mr. McGuffin. Ironically, real wealth isn't about money at all. It's about time. It's about buying back your time by investing in assets that make you passive income so that you have free time to dedicate to whatever you want.
My name is Mark McGuffin, founder and managing director of Stoneguard Limited, and I am an “Introducing Broker” or IB for short.
I first started my career in sales at age 11, working in my father’s menswear shop in Cookstown, Northern Ireland. Believe it or not, from that young age I already knew that I wanted to work in Saudi Arabia and farm the desert. After 3 years of Agricultural college on the West Coast of Scotland, I graduated in 1990 and felt I was now ready to kick start my Saudi Arabian dream. Unfortunately this was not to be, as the company I had been negotiating with in preparation had pulled out of the Gulf and closed down their operation. This was quite a show stopper, so I took a 1 year sabbatical and traveled around the globe observing how modern farming was done. Coming to the end of my sabbatical I was offered a posting in the Canary Islands in the Vacation Ownership industry. I loved the work so much that I spent 14 years on the islands of Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canary until I later moved to Marbella in mainland Spain to sell Real Estate.
Three years later my career was interrupted by the Global Financial Crisis of 2008 which led to the collapse of the Real Estate market in Spain. While considering my future career I was approached and head hunted by a sports front-line golf developer in Chiang Mai who wanted me to work in Thailand to take charge of their sales and marketing activities. I had been a keen golf enthusiast and felt this was just too good of an opportunity to pass up. Some time later and after much success I felt the urge to go out on my own and build a company from the ground up. I started Stoneguard Limited by signing my first agreement with International Capital Markets to become an Introducing Broker. The rest is history!
Currently, Stoneguard Limited is in talks with other large companies whose interests range from gold bullion and stocks to real estate.
When a satisfactory deal has been negotiated, our clients are the first to know.
My clients expect good deals like the “Expert Advisor'' trading software, however I have found that real wealth isn't about money at all, it is about time. It is about buying back your time by investing in assets to earn enough passive income to free up your time so you can do the things you love - in my case to play golf!

IBs find and introduce clients to products and services across the globe.
The companies that sell these products and services pay a rebate or commission for this service, so there is no additional cost to the client. An IB negotiates with these companies in advance to allow them to offer something that other companies cannot.
What do Introducing Brokers do?
IBs interact directly with clients who are interested in trading securities and/or other types of investments to provide advice. They do not handle cash or securities but they can handle problems that may arise because an experienced Introducing Broker will be very familiar with the potential roadblocks that arise between the companies and clients.
What Introducing Brokers are NOT!
Some of the common myths about Introducing Brokers are detailed below.
IBs are sales representatives or “cold callers”
IBs execute trades on behalf or the client
IBs are expensive to work with
We offer something that the company cannot due to our arrangement
IBs provide advice and information. We don’t have access to your money.
IBs get commissions from the company - you won’t get a bill from us!
The Forex market is where currencies are traded. It is the only truly continuous and nonstop trading market in the world. In the past, the Forex market was dominated by institutional firms and large banks, who acted on behalf of clients. Participants in this market are institutions, investment banks, commercial banks, and retail investors.
Trading foreign exchange on the currency market, also called trading Forex, can be a thrilling hobby and a great source of income. To put it into perspective, the securities market trades about $22.4 billion per day; the Forex market trades over $6 trillion per day. So how do you start trading Forex from home? Live accounts and real Forex money are the only good way to do this.

If you can automate a process others are performing manually; you have a competitive advantage. If you can increase the number of markets you’re in, you have more opportunities. And in the zero-sum world of trading, if you can adapt to changes in real time while others are standing still, your advantage will translate into profits.
